The Ghost and Mrs. Mewer by Krista Davis is a delightful story. It is the second book in the Paw and Claws
series. Holly Miller (along with her
dog, Trixie and cat, Twinkletoes) has moved to Wagtail to help her Oma run the
Sugar Maple Inn. The town of Wagtail has
reinvented itself. Everything in the
town caters to the tourists and their animals (cats and dogs). The tourists can take their animals
everywhere with them. The restaurants
even have special meals for the cats and dogs (this is my kind of town).
It is Halloween in Wagtail.
The Apparition Apprehenders have come to town to film an episode of
their show. They are ghost hunters! Unfortunately, someone ends up dead. Holly, along with various cute animals,
investigate to find the killer. This
book is just delightful. What a
wonderful cast of characters and a good mystery! I hope you enjoy The Ghost and Mrs. Mewer as
much as I did!
