Uncharted Territory

Uncharted Territory by Carolyn Ridder Aspenson is the third book in the Angela Panther series.  Angela is helping Detective Aaron Banner with cases.  She is an unpaid and unacknowledged consultant (Aaron does not want his fellow workers to know he is using a psychic medium).  Aaron needs Angela to help on the case of a fourteen year old boy.  There was no I.D. on the boy and it is believed he jumped.  Angela needs to find out who the young man is and if it was a suicide, a murder, or an accident.  The boy also wants Angela to help a young girl in trouble.  The girl is never around long enough for Angela to get any information and the girl does not look like other spirits.

Mel is divorced and looking for men to date.  She is on some online dating sites but most of the men on them are creepy (and have disgusting user names).  Until she can find a man to take care of her needs, she is using Vinnie the vibrator.   Mel is helping Angela with the case and is very happy to meet Aaron Banner.  The flirting between Mel and Aaron is enough to make Angela gag!  Angela is going to have to work hard to solve the cases.  Of course, Fran (Angela’s mother) is helping out with a little celestial spying (Fran wants to be called a celestial being).

Uncharted Territory is my least favorite of the series.  I’m sorry, but I did not like the constant references to sex and vibrators (that is why there are erotic books).  There is also a lot of foul language in this book.  I give Uncharted Territory 3 out of 5 stars.  This book was lacking in substance.  I want more paranormal content.

I received a complimentary copy of Uncharted Territory from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.  The review and opinions expressed are strictly my own.
