The Festive Bride by Diana Lesire Brandmeyer is a fun and
romantic Christmas story. Roy Gibbons is
a widower with two little girls, Elisbet and Frances. He moved his family after his wife death to
get away from the memories, but he is now having trouble running his farm,
taking care of the housework and meals, and taking care of his little
girls. Alma Pickens and her father
(local doctor) have been alone since her mother’s death. Alma has promised her mother that she would
take care of her father. Alma’s father,
though, wants her to have a husband and family of her own. Dr. Pickens thinks Roy and his girls are the
answer to his prayers. Alma brings love
and joy back into the Gibbons life. It
is fun reading about Roy and Alma getting to know each other. The Festive Bride is a fun read! It is part of the 12 Brides of Christmas
series by Diana Lesire Brandmeyer. I was
