DIY Type: 50+Typographic Stencils for Decorating, Crafting, and Gifiting by Dana Tanamachi
is a book of typographic stencils. There
are over 50 individual stencils (letters of different sizes) but little to no
instructions. There are some tips and suggested
supplies as well as information about the author. The stencils are very nice and I cannot wait
to use them. However, I wish the author
had provided some unusual ideas on how to use the stencils. I wanted something new and different instead
of the normal chalk, markers, colored pencils, and embroidery. The one thing about this book that I loved was
the cover. It is lovely. There are interesting curlicue cutouts around
the wording on the cover. It is such a
shame that the book did not live up to the cover.
I was provided a complimentary copy of this book from the
publisher and Blogging for Books in exchange for an honest review.
Thank you for visiting and reading my review of this book. I hope you have a great week and Happy Reading!
