Two Great Books by Tommie Lyn

The Sands of Santa Rosa by Tommie Lyn is the first book in the Cotton Chastain series.  I received the book and read it within two hours.  I loved it.  Cotton Chastain is a mechanic who has grown up in the mountain area of Georgia, and he has Second Sight!  A feeling of knowing when something is wrong.  Cotton was on his way to see his brother, Andy, in New Orleans when a feeling comes over him and leads him to Navarre, Florida.  Cotton meets Mattie and Sara.  Cotton does not know what is going to happen, he just knows that something is going to happen and he needs to be around.  This is a book of romance, mystery, and suspense.  The Sands of Santa Rosa is a delightful story that is well-written and engaging.  I received a free copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Windows of the Soul by Tommie Lyn is the second book in the Cotton Chastain novels.  It continues the story of Cotton, Mattie and Sara.  Mattie and Cotton have to learn to deal with their anger and communicate with each other.  Mattie also has to learn that her pride can lead to heartache and the importance of following your heart.  There is also missing jewels, a contract killer, and a natural disaster – all of which make a great story.  This is a wonderful book and I cannot wait for the next book by this author.  I received a free copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
