The Graves of the Guilty by Ellery Adams is the third book
in A Hope Street Church Mysteries. This
is a lovely Christian cozy mystery.
Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and Cooper Lee has high hopes for
this holiday with her boyfriend, Nathan.
However, Ashley, Cooper’s high maintenance sister, finds a dead body in
the trunk of her car. Miguel, the dead
person, worked at Love Motors which implicates Lincoln, Ashley’s husband, and the
dealership. When another person is killed, Hector, and his mother works at Love
Motors as well. Cooper Lee and the other members of the Bible
study group work to solve the murders.
Cooper is also finding herself attracted to another man,
Edward (they solved his Father’s murder in The Way of the Wicked). Cooper
Lee finds herself attracted to him and does not know how to handle this
attraction. Quinton, friend in the Bible
Study Group, fall for Gloria May, a new member of the church who also sings in
the choir.
