God Bless America - A Patriotic Coloring Book

I hope all of you are having an enjoyable Sunday.  I wanted to share an adult coloring book with you today.  It has become so popular. My Mother has started coloring.  She has a couple of different coloring books and a very big collection of colored pencils. I have found colored pencils are the best item to use for coloring in adult coloring books (do not forget to purchase a good pencil sharpener like School Smart).

God Bless America is A Patriotic Coloring Book.  Coloring books for adults is the latest craze.  It actually makes sense (and why should kids get all the fun) since they are a great way to relax, relieve stress, and be creative.  This coloring book has original images (from nine artists) that go with quotes from Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Neil Armstrong and other figures from history, historic documents, patriotic hymns (Battle Hymn of the Republic for example), and other historical tidbits that are on the back of each page.  The images are all different and will look beautiful when colored in (they look pretty without colors too).  The images include a barn, flags, man on the moon, fireworks, the Statue of Liberty, horses, buildings, birds, flowers, and planes (plus much more). The pages are thick so you can use crayons, colored pencils, or markers.  The only problem is the spine.  I wish it had been spiral bound to make it easier to color. I give God Bless America 4.5 out of 5 stars.  If you are looking for a historical, patriotic coloring book, then you will enjoy God Bless America.  I did receive a complimentary copy of GodBless America in exchange for an honest and fair review.  Examples of the pages are below.  There are about 37 pages to color in the book.

I will be back later with my review of Once Upon a Wine by Beth Kendrick.  Take care and Happy Reading!
