Marked in Ink

I wanted to share a coloring book with you today.  Adult coloring books have become extremely popular.  My mother and daughter have taken it up.  Marked in Ink is one that appeals to my daughter's aesthetic.  Marked in Ink is an adult coloring book by tattoo artist Megan Massacre.  It contains 36 images on perforated pages.  I am glad that the pages are perforated so you can easily remove them to color.  The images are only on one side of the paper.  The paper is good quality (not thin).  It is perfect for markers, colored pencils, gel pens, crayons, etc.  The images have flair and movement.  There are a number of different skull images as well as birds, cats, daggers, mermaid, flowers, dream catcher, etc.  The images are bold and beautiful.  This coloring books will be enjoyed by those that love edgy and unique images (like my daughter).  The only negative comments I have is that there are too many skull images in the book.  I counted eleven skull images (out of the thirty-six images).  Overall, this is a great coloring book that teenagers and adults will enjoy!  I give Marked in Ink 5 out of 5 stars.

Megan Massacre is a tattoo artist, model, and a star on the show NY Ink (on TLC).  Megan lives in New York City and is a partner in Grit N Glory, a rock 'n' roll lifestyle boutique and tattoo studio.  I received a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.  The comments and opinions expressed are strictly my own.

I will be back later with another review.  I appreciate you taking the time to stop by!  If you like my reviews, please consider joining my blog (at right).  I hope all of you have a delightful Wednesday. Take care and Happy Reading!
