Victoria Town Mysteries by Mollie Cox Bryan

My Thoughts

Victoria Town Mysteries by Mollie Cox Bryan contains Killer Spring Fling, Masquerade Murder, and Merry Scary Victorian Christmas.  These are the first three books in A Victoria Town Mystery series.  These three lighthearted tales allow us to get to know Viv Barton who has moved to Victoria Town, Virginia.  Viv lives with her Aunt Libby who owns Sweet Victoria’s Bed and Breakfast.  She helps in the B&B and works part-time at Mourning Arts.  These three tales each have a mystery that Viv works to solve.  I like how the author has developed the characters over the course of the series.  I enjoy the direction the author has taken Viv.  It suits her natural curiosity, and it utilizes her mad computer skills.  Aunt Libby is such a sweet woman.  She is a great character with a fabulous bed and breakfast.  I love the descriptions of Victoria Town.  It reminds me of German Village where I grew up as well as the Victorian town that is nearby. There is also wonderful word imagery of Victorian items such as fans, jewelry, clothing, and furniture.  I like the PI we are introduced to in Merry Scary Victorian Christmas.  I enjoyed the humor in the stories.  I enjoy Mollie Cox Bryan’s writing style.  It has an ease to it which makes the stories easy to read and enjoy.  Victoria Town Mysteries contains three lighthearted mystery novellas with spring fling fun, a masked murderer, a tragic tea, a poisoned person, a striking sleuth, and copious quantities of cookies.

Victoria Town Mysteries is available from Amazon*.  It can be borrowed through Kindle Unlimited. My mother loves this program.  She borrows books from them daily. You can find Mollie Cox Bryan's other novels here.  Thank you for stopping by today and reading my review.  Next time I am featuring Killer Content by Olivia Blacke.  It is the first book in A Brooklyn Murder Mystery series.  I hope that you have a peaceful day.  Take care, be kind, and Happy Reading!
