Unbreakable Bonds by Carolyn Ridder Aspenson is the second book in the Angela Panther series. It starts approximately six months after the
end of Unfinished Business. Angela is
mourning the loss of her father. She has
also lost her ability to see and hear ghosts.
Angela has been working with a local psychic medium to try and get her
powers back (she wants to talk with her father). Angela is having trouble with someone
throwing rocks at her. Emily, Angela’s
daughter, is still causing trouble. She
is now seventeen and can drive (that always means more trouble). Since Angela cannot communicate with her
mother, she has lost her celestial spy.
Mel, Angela’s best friend,
believes her husband is cheating on her.
Mel wants help getting proof of an affair for the divorce. Mel will not put up with him cheating on her
again (yes, this is the second time). They
really need help from Fran. Will Angela
get her gift back? Is Mel’s husband
cheating on her again? What trouble will
Emily get into this time? Read
Unbreakable Bonds for the answers to all those questions.
I give Unbreakable Bonds 3.5 out of
5. It is a cute and funny story. Again, a little over the top. I wish the author would not use foul language
(I find it offensive). There is also a
lot of sex talk for a paranormal book. I
do enjoy the jokes and references to menopause (you really have to go through
it to understand).
I received a complimentary copy
of Unbreakable Bonds from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. The review and opinions expressed are
strictly my own.
Thank you for visiting my blog and reading my review. I am currently reading Murder at Beechwood by Alyssa Maxwell. Have a delightful Tuesday and Happy Reading!
