It is a hot and humid day here in Florida. August is always the worst month of summer. Even the dogs do not want to stay outside for very long. They hurry out, do their business, and rush back in!

Jo Marie has not been on a date since the death of her husband. You just know the date is not going to go well. Jo Marie needs to decide how she really feels about Mark before she can decide what to do with her love life.
I was delighted to read Silver Linings. It was a heartwarming novel. I do not read this type of book often (not anymore), but I love Debbie Macomber’s novels (and this was no exception). Silver Linings is well-written, engaging, and has great flow. You just want to keep reading until the very end (and then I did not want it to end). I give Silver Linings 5 out of 5 stars. I wish we did not have to wait another to find out what happens with Mark and Jo Marie!
I received a complimentary copy of this novel from the publisher (through LibraryThing) in exchange for an honest review. The review and opinions expressed are my own.
